HOME / AFTER SCHOOL / HSARTS DANCE CONSERVATORY

HSArts Dance Conservatory

Welcome to HSArts Dance Conservatory

At the HSArts Dance Conservatory, young dancers develop not only strong technique, but also discipline, confidence, artistry, and character. Our program is designed for children ages 5–18 who are ready to grow in a structured yet nurturing environment where excellence and joy go hand in hand.

Rooted in classical training and artistic expression, the conservatory introduces students to the beauty of dance through thoughtful instruction, age-appropriate progression, and a strong emphasis on focus, musicality, posture, coordination, and perseverance.

A Strong Foundation for Young Dancers

The elementary years are one of the most important periods for developing movement habits, discipline, flexibility, coordination, and artistic expression. Our faculty carefully guide students through foundational training that prepares them for more advanced conservatory-level work in later years.

Classes include:

  • Ballet Technique
  • Chinese Dance
  • Stretch & Conditioning
  • Rhythm & Musicality
  • Turns, Jumps, Tumbling and Coordination
  • Performance and Stage Presence

Students are taught in a positive and structured environment that emphasizes:

  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Focus
  • Grace
  • Teamwork
  • Confidence through disciplined practice

More Than Just Dance

At HSArts, we believe the arts help shape the whole child. Dance training teaches students how to:

  • Focus deeply,
  • Work consistently toward long-term goals,
  • Overcome challenges,
  • Present themselves with confidence,
  • And develop resilience and self-control.

These habits often positively influence students’ academic learning and personal growth as well.

Performance Opportunities

Students in the Dance Conservatory have opportunities throughout the year to perform in:

  • Community Events
  • Seasonal Performances
  • Dance Competitions
  • Winter Wonders and Spring Spectacular at the Herbst Theater

Performing helps students develop stage presence, confidence, teamwork, and professionalism while experiencing the joy of sharing their artistry in front of an audience .

A Supportive Conservatory Environment

Our conservatory welcomes both:

  • Students who simply love dance and want to participate
  • Highly motivated young dancers who may wish to pursue advanced dance training

Faculty work closely with families to help students grow steadily while maintaining a healthy balance between discipline, encouragement, and joy.

Discover Beauty Through Dance

At HSArts, we believe dance is not only physical training, but also an education in beauty, expression, discipline, and character.

We invite young dancers to begin their artistic journey with us.
